Who Should Apply for This Registration?
A startup can apply for recognition if it satisfies the following conditions:
Registered as a Private Limited Company, a Partnership Firm, or a Limited Liability Partnership
Annual turnover should not have exceeded ₹100 crore in any of the previous financial years
Recognized as a startup for up to 10 years from the date of its incorporation
Actively working towards innovation or improvement of existing products, services, or processes, with the potential to generate employment or create wealth — entities formed by splitting or reconstructing an existing business don't qualify as a startup
